Best NHL Parlay Bet | Dec. 1

Colorado Avalanche versus Buffalo Sabres Over 6.5 -115:

Throughout the month of November Sabres games averaged 7.64 combined goals, with the over going 10-4-0 in those 14 games.

Blindly betting teams falling into such a trend is not necessarily a winning strategy, but the logic does seem to dictate that the Sabres are going to play a lot of high scoring hockey moving forward. Especially on a back-to-back versus the high-powered Avalanche.

Colorado was shutout Tuesday by Connor Hellebuyck and the Winnipeg Jets but counting on the Avalanche’ elite offensive talents to lead it to four or more goals in this spot seems logical.

Buffalo will be starting Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in goal in this contest, who has struggled to an .847 save % and -0.9 goals saved above expected rating this season. His reputation as a prospect suggests he could possibly be a solid NHL option this year, but that remains to be seen.

Colorado’s top ranked powerplay will also get a great matchup versus a Buffalo PK which owns just a 73.15 success rate. It’s hard to imagine how Buffalo will keep the Avs entirely at bay in this spot, and three goals seems to be the floor for the Avalanche’s production tonight.

Buffalo has some very capable scorers themselves however and are seeing meaningful offensive production from all over the lineup. Tage Thompson has been incredible and leads a top line which is extremely hard to keep entirely in check, while guys like Dylan Cozens are chipping in steady depth scoring.

Quarterbacked by Rasmus Dahlin the Sabres powerplay has clicked at a stellar 26.2% success rate, which seems replicable moving forward with the talent on hand.

Buffalo’s current roster composition dictates a lot of high-scoring hockey should occur this season, and a play on the over here is a good way to get this parlay kicked off.

Anton Lundell Over 0.5 Points -102 (Panthers vs Canucks):

2020 12th overall pick Anton Lundell is an immensely talented skater and has rightfully drawn into first line and top powerplay roles with the Panthers Captain Aleksander Barkov sidelined.

Lundell has recorded a point in four straight contests, and in all three since his movement up the lineup. Skating in these roles Lundell is going to record at least a single point in well past 50% of all games, and this is simply an auto-play until Barkov returns.

The Panthers provide Lundell with a ton of offensive support and will skate in an excellent matchup tonight against a Vancouver side which has allowed 3.78 goals against per game, which is the third worst mark in the league.

Washington Capitals Moneyline versus Seattle Kraken +102:

This is the definition of a buy-low sell-high spot in the handicapping world, as even coming from someone who has endorsed the Kraken heavily, a loss in the near future is coming.

Most notably due to the fact that Seattle’s goaltending tandem of Martin Jones and Philipp Grubauer has started to falter heavily, and that concern is going to be difficult to hide should the Kraken not score over five goals per game as it has throughout its six-game winning streak.

Washington played its game of the season Tuesday versus Vancouver, and the signs have been there that the Capitals were due for better results. Over the last six games Washington has played to a 55.34 xGF% and is beginning to look in sync to the eye with players like T.J. Oshie and John Carlson back in the mix.

Darcy Kuemper has been steady in Washington’s goal with a +4.7 GSAx and .917 save % in 18 games played and offers a notable edge for the Caps over either Jones or Grubauer.

The gameplay will likely be quite close and if anything, the Capitals should surprise and carry play at a reasonable rate, and in that case grabbing the underdog side with the better goaltender is a sound strategy.
