For those with a sportsbook offering the option to make single-game parlay’s on NHL action, attacking a big night from the Stars trio is an angle I love.

Tonight’s NHL Player Props

Jason Robertson Over 2.5 Shots on Goal -190 (Sharks versus Blues):

Over what has now become a massive sample of over two seasons, Dallas top trio of Jason Robertson, Joe Pavelski, and Roope Hintz has absolutely dominated the competition at a level rarely seen at the NHL level.

In 125.9 minutes of 5-on-5 play together this season the trio owns a 65.5% expected goals rate, and own an xGF per 60 of 3.62.

The production has been there where it matters as well, as the unit has combined for 48 points in 13 contests, and has allowed just a single goal against at 5-on-5.

The Stars get a favorable matchup Friday against a poor San Jose Sharks squad skating in night two of a road back-to-back, and it’s quite likely Dallas will control far more of the play as it looks to shake off it’s worst loss of the season Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Robertson has gone over a number of 2.5 in five straight contests while generating 5.6 shots per game.

If your with a Sportsbook which offers alternative lines playing for four, five, or six Robertson shots is a strong angle, but over 2.5 projects to be very safe and even at -190 there is value.

Robertson can also be had at around +185 to record two points, and that is another strong angle should you have the option to place that wager.

Joe Pavelski Anytime Goalscorer +200:

Pavelski has continually proven to be one of hockey’s top net front presences with his otherworldly ability to deflect point shots from all angles, and is elite at pushing out into the bumper position on the powerplay and generating looks that way as well.

The Stars top unit is going to generate a wealth of offensive chances tonight and backing any of those three to score is reasonable, but at +200 Pavelski holds the longest price to break through with a goal from the Stars top unit tonight which makes him a great target considering his goal scoring abilities.

Kirill Kaprizov Over 3.5 Shots On Goal -122 (Wild versus Kraken):

Kaprizov has taken his game to a ridiculous level this season, and has generated 10 goals in 13 games from 4.23 shots on goal per game.

Many expected a big response from Kaprizov after a game misconduct Tuesday night versus Los Angeles, and Kaprizov responded the next night in Anaheim with a massive two goal, nine shot performance.

Kaprizov has hit the over 3.5 in four of his last seven contests, however one of those misses was Tuesday versus Los Angeles, when Kaprizov exited early in the second already with three shots on net.

The Kraken are not an ideal matchup as it does not allow a ton of shots on goal, but the fact that tonight’s matchup is quite likely going to be a close game is favorable for our narrative as Kaprizov will likely see heavy usage.

The way Kaprizov is playing it’s not going to matter the matchup either, and ten games from now Kaprizov will likely be closer to -150 to -160 to record over 3.5 shots and this is still a strong price in less than perfect matchup.
