Christian McCaffrey Props: Bettors Hammering 49ers RB Ahead of TNF

Is San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in for a massive performance against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football? Bettors surely think so with the amount of action on Christian McCaffrey props.

With the Week 15 opener hours away, bettors are getting in their final bets, and it may come as no surprise that the superstar running back is garnering a lot of attention. For unique Christian McCaffrey bets, check out the OddsShopper best NFL bets tool.

Christian McCaffrey Props Popular For TNF

According to BetMGM data analyst John Ewing, the top three most bet props for 49ers-Seahawks are Christian McCaffrey to score first touchdown (+450), McCaffrey to score anytime TD (-165), and McCaffrey over 35.5 receiving yards (-120). Moreover, the receiving yards prop has 99% bets on the over.

In his 13 games played this season, McCaffrey has gone over the 35.5 receiving yards plateau seven times. And since he was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the 49ers, McCaffrey has gone over that mark in four of seven games, but only appeared in 29% of the team’s offensive snaps in his first game with the new team when going for just 24 receiving yards in Week 8.

When acquiring McCaffrey, 49ers head coach noted how he now has two playing with McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel who can run and catch the ball at a high level.

“They’re different positions, but they both can play the other one’s position, so it just makes it a lot easier to distribute the field,” Shanahan said via NBC Sports. “It’s not like Deebo is going to do this for him or he’s going to do that for Deebo.

“They both do it for everybody including one another and themselves. It just makes a little bit more space and it makes a little bit more of a threat on whoever gets the ball in their hands.”

Now, both Deebo Samuel and backup running back Eli Mitchell are out with injuries, leaving the door open for McCaffrey to be the one true Swiss army knife in the Niners offense. In the past two games, McCaffrey has answered the bell, running for over 100 yards in each performance, while also combing for 114 yards and two touchdowns receiving.

Look for Christian McCaffrey‘s elite play-making ability to be on full display against a Seahawks team that allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. It very well could be a signature performance for McCaffrey on National TV Thursday.
