Ahead of the matchup with San Francisco, let’s take a look at the Travis HomerKenneth Walker III fantasy football ranking & analysis.

Kenneth Walker, Travis Homer Fantasy Football Ranking & Analysis

Per our Stokastic weekly fantasy football rankings, Kenneth Walker III ranks No. 24 on the board, with Travis Homer and all other Seahawks running backs ranking way further down on the list. Using our free player compare tool, Walker projects at 12.73 fantasy football points.

Using our expert DFS projections, Walker ($7,600) ranks as a low-end value play show the showdown slate, with 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey as a slightly better play even at an inflated price.

Kenneth Walker has been enjoying a strong rookie season up to this point for a Seahawks team that has surprised many. He currently has 649 yards and nine touchdowns with an impressive 4.7 yards per carry. He’s also added 116 receiving yards.

However, the Seahawks have struggled to run the football in recent weeks. Three one the team’s last four games have resulted in less than 70 yards rushing, including netting just 49 yards without Walker or DeeJay Dallas active in Week 14. Walker had been on a solid stretch before to that run, scoring 14 or more fantasy points in seven consecutive weeks prior to Week 13.

The 49ers defensive unit boats an elite run-stopping skill, so it won’t come easy if the Seahawks expect to burst out of their rushing slump. San Francisco ranks No.1 in the league in fantasy football points allowed to opposing running backs, and has only allowed over 100 yards rushing once this season (Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons).

View Kenneth Walker as a low-end RB2 in fantasy football this week, but don’t be surprised if he struggles against a stout defense in his return from injury.
