“This is an odd one because the line was at 4, 3.5 in some spots, moved up to 5 when Nick Foles was announced, and then there’s been some buy back — it’s back to 4. The Colts, yes, imploded last Saturday, coughed up 36 unanswered points to be on the wrong side of the biggest comeback in NFL history. And let’s not forget about the Dallas game before the bye … But the funny thing is, they still covered last week. And the Chargers are just surely a team that I do not feel confident in.”
The Colts are the league’s laughingstock after last week’s blowup, but Loughy is playing the spread here, and Indianapolis still managed to cover against Minnesota. As such, despite the Colts’ downward trajectory, they are still a solid spread play tonight.
