NFL Odds: The Latest Denver Broncos Super Bowl Odds (Week 7 Update)

Is it time for complete panic for the Denver Broncos?

After acquiring Russell Wilson in the offseason, the Broncos were considered one of few favorites to win he Super Bowl this season. But now they not only find themselves at a disappointing 2-4 on the season, and their offense (and Wilson) seems to lack any promise or hope for a turnaround.

In Week 5, the Broncos put up just nine points in an OT loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and it was more of the same story when the team lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football, 16-13.

Coming into the season, the Broncos were 17-1 to win the Super Bowl, and now they find themselves as massive long shots at 90-1. Check out the full updated Super Bowl odds below:

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett came into his first season as Broncos head coach labeled as the offensive guru who was sure to bring a high-powered offense centered around Wilson to Denver. And after their latest disappointment on Monday night, Hackett shared his frustration with how things have been going through six weeks.

“This is very disappointing,” Hackett said, via the team’s website. “We need to have a lot more urgency across the board. It starts with me as a coach, going to all the other coaches and then the players. Players need to be just more urgent. We had some opportunities there, and we’ve got to execute at a higher level. We’ve got to come up with some better plays.”

While Vegas oddsmakers now have little faith in the ability of the Hackett-Wilson marriage leading to postseason success, they'll have to continue to try to get something out of this offense.

The Broncos will take on the up-and-coming New York Jets in Week 7.
