Best NBA Prop Bets Today: Luka Doncic Cleaning the Glass Against Utah (November 2)

Wednesday night provides NBA bettors with an 11-game slate that features a lot of strong spots in the player prop market. With multiple games projected to be high scoring, there are plenty of props to take advantage of. With the help of OddsShopper, below are a rebounding prop and a points prop from star players who are expected to have large workloads in their games tonight.

Best NBA Props Today | November 2

Luka Doncic O/U 8.5 Rebounds

Rebounding props have been good bets this season. This time, it’s a guard that everyone is very familiar with. With a matchup against the Jazz on deck tonight, Luka Doncic has a rebounding prop of 8.5. He is averaging an absurd 36.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists far this season. In six games, Doncic has surpassed 8.5 rebounds in four, and one of the two in which he didn’t get to the number he played six minutes less than his per-game average. With the Mavericks playing host to a frisky Jazz team, expect this game to be close, resulting in Doncic playing a full workload. Vegas tends to agree here, as the line is set at 5.5, which should positively influence Doncic props tonight.

Doncic has a 58% chance to cash this ticket and a 7% ROI. The Jazz are allowing 58.6 rebounds per game to opponents, which is good for the third-worst total in the NBA. After losing Rudy Gobert, this team is having a hard time on the glass, and because Doncic has already proved his rebounding ability against much better competition, he should be able to bring down boards with ease tonight. Lock in the over on 8.5 rebounds for a unit and sprinkle a triple-double at +450 odds.

Trae Young O/U 28.5 Points

Trae Young is coming off of an off night and has a stellar matchup in New York against the Knicks this evening. Young loves playing at Madison Square Garden, and last season he surpassed 28.5 points in every game against the Knicks, which featured a 45-point night in the Garden. Young is averaging 29 points through seven games, and after scoring only 14 against a stellar Raptors defense, he should get himself back into the 30-point range. He has already done so three times this season.

The Knicks are lacking defensive ability when guarding premier guards this season, especially when they look to score first. The two best guards the Knicks have seen through six games are Ja Morant and Donovan Mitchell, who scored 34 and 38 points, respectively. Young has a line of 28.5 points with -105 odds to the over, so this is not only a good spot for him, but also a good line.

OddsShopper gives Young a 54% chance to hit this over and a 6% ROI, and this Hawks – Knicks matchup holds the highest total on the slate tonight, coming in at 233. This may feel a little chalky given all of the reasoning to back the over, but Young will look for his shot early and often on his way to another memorable night at Madison Square Garden.
