No House Advantage NBA Player Props

Kevin Durant: OVER 28.5 Points

The Brooklyn Nets travel to face the Indiana Pacers as they look to get their season back to expectations. The Nets won their last game against the Raptors by a score of 112-98, and they sit 10th in the conference heading into this matchup with a solid Pacers team. If the Nets want to be a championship contender, they are going to need their stars to play at a high level the rest of the way, and Kevin Durant is going to need to play at an MVP-caliber level, which he is more than capable of doing. The Pacers dropped their last game but had a five-game win streak prior to Wednesday. OddsShopper projects Durant to have a big night against the Pacers, with 30.7 projected points. Over 28.5 points for Durant is the prop to play for tonight’s contest.

Stephen Curry: OVER 27.5 Points

At 9-10, the Golden State Warriors may not be where they want to be just yet, but they have been able to turn a season around pretty quickly. Even with the Warriors struggling, they still rank sixth in the NBA in points per game and once again have a deep group that can shoot the ball well. Stephen Curry has had a phenomenal year so far, scoring 31.6 points per game, and the Warriors will need a big night from him against a good Jazz team. Utah has had a good start but is vulnerable on defense, ranking 23rd in opponent points per game. OddsShopper’s projections have Curry scoring 31.6 points tonight, so look to bet over 27.5 points for Curry tonight as the Warriors go for a big win against a conference opponent.

Trae Young OVER 8.5 Assists

The Eastern Conference is going to be a tight race all season, and it is loaded front to back with great talent. One team that has really stood out this year has been the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks are riding an 11-7 record and are coming off a 115-106 win against a much-improved Sacramento Kings team. Next up for the Hawks is the Houston Rockets. While the Rockets have been struggling all season, they are a young team that still plays hard. Trae Young has been dominant for the Hawks and is a major reason they have gotten off to such a strong start. While Young is a talented scorer, he has also been able to have great success passing the basketball this season, and the Hawks have a lot of talent on their offense.

For the Hawks’ matchup against the Rockets, OddsShopper projects a big night passing for Young, with 9.0 assists. The Rockets have also struggled tremendously on defense, ranking 25th in opponent points per game. Look for the over of 8.5 assists from Young, as the Hawks should roll against the struggling Rockets.
