J.K. Dobbins Expected to Play Against the Patriots: Where the Ravens RB Ranks For Fantasy Football Week 3

For the first time since the 2020 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens will have dynamic running back J.K. Dobbins on the field for Week 3.

While Baltimore was exercising patience when bringing Dobbins back from an ACL injury, NFL Network’s Ian Rapport reported late Saturday night that the Ravens are expected to have the young running back available when they take on the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.

“You’ll know it when you see it. I’ll put it that way,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told assembled media on Friday, per the Ravens’ official website. “I’m happy with how he’s working. We got certain parameters that we are looking at. It’s not going to be too long.”

J.K. Dobbins Fantasy Football Ranking For Week 3

Given the long injury recovery, the expectation. id that Dobbins will likely not have his full workload for Week 3. In Stokastic’s NFL Start/Sit Fantasy Football Rankings, we currently have Dobbins ranked as the 46th running back for Week 3.

With Dobbins and backup running back Gus Edwards out for the first two weeks of the season, the Ravens have divided the running back load between Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill. But so far, it’s been quarterback Lamar Jackson who has done most of the damage on the ground for the Ravens.

The former MVP already has 136 rushing yards on the season, with Drake second in that department with just 39 yards and no touchdowns.

Given the lack of production the Ravens have had out of their running backs through the first two weeks, the addition of Dobbins could not come at a better time.

In 2020, Dobbins ran for 805 yards and nine touchdowns.
