Allen Lazard vs. Christian Watson: Who Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value For SNF?

Will Allen Lazard or Christian Watson shine for Sunday Night Night Football? With the Green Bay Packers set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, let’s take a look at the Christian WatsonAllen Lazard fantasy football and DFS rankings.

Allen LazardChristian Watson Fantasy Football and DFS Ranking

Per our Stokastic weekly fantasy football receiver rankings, Allen Lazard (No. 26 on the board) ranks ahead of Christian Watson (No. 37) for Week 12. With our free player compare tool, Lazard projects at 11.24 fantasy points, with Watson projecting at 9.58.

In DFS, our expert projection system has Lazard ($5,800) ranked as a slightly better value play over Watson ($5,000).

Over the past few weeks, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has developed quite the rapport with Watson in the wide receiver’s rookie season. Seemingly overcoming an early season issue with drops, Watson has come on strong, with five touchdown catches in the past two games.

“Yeah, 12 (Rogers) and [coach Matt LaFleur] both said early, ‘We’re going to come back to you,'” Watson told reporters. “And I mean, obviously, that hit me at home. I know that those are plays I can make. Those are plays that I make every day at practice and something I know I’m capable of. So, obviously, just having that to fall back on, knowing that we’re still in it, we’re still good, they’ve still got faith in me means the world.”

There’s no doubt Watson has established himself as a red zone target for the Packers, but Lazard has been the top option all season long and has gotten many more looks. In a Week 11 loss to the Tennessee Titans, it was Lazard who had more targets (11) and a higher snap percentage (92%) than Watson.

The future is bright for Christian Watson in Green Bay, but for now, Allen Lazard is still the guy.
