Eno Benjamin vs. James Conner: Which Cardinals Running Back Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value in TNF?

The Arizona Cardinals have been forced to use both Eno Benjamin and James Conner in their backfield due to injuries this season.

While either have stood out for the first six weeks of the season, Arizona will undoubtedly try to get better production out of their running back tandem to try to fix their offensive woes.

Going into their prime time Thursday Night Football matchup on prime time, let’s take a look at who projects better between Conner and Benjamin.

Eno BenjaminJames Conner Fantasy Football and DFS Ranking For TNF

Per our Stokastic running back rankings for Week 7, Conner (No. 23) ranks as a better option than Benjamin (No. 34 on the list). Through six weeks of the season, it’s been Conner who’s handled the bulk of the workload in the Cardinals backfield. He currently has just 200 yards and one touchdown, but has added 14 receptions on 19 targets for 103 yards.

However, Conner has been dealing with a ribs injury in that kept him sidelined for last week’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and he remained out of practice all week this week. Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that he’ll be a game-time decision for Week 7.

In Conner’s absence Benjamin ran 15 times for 37 yards last Sunday. But he’s been listed as limited this week too because of a foot injury.

Using or DFS Player Compare tool, Benjamin ranks as a better option for Thursday Night Football, but that’s contingent on the availability of Conner.

We’ll await any more updates on Conner’s injury before kick off.
