Panthers vs. Cardinals Best Anytime Touchdown Prop Odds: D.J. Moore Gets His Wish in Week 4 (October 2)

D.J. Moore has had an upsetting start to his 2022 season despite the hype behind bringing in new starting quarterback Baker Mayfield, but his touchdown odds on Sunday are worth a look.

Through three games Moore has 15 targets for seven receptions and one touchdown. Moore has yet to breakout for the Panthers this year, but that’s presented us with a terrific buy-low opportunity on Moore to score against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.

D.J. Moore Anytime Touchdown (+155, DraftKings)

After some locker-room footage leaked this week of Moore’s frustration with being open and not getting the ball, we should see Mayfield look his direction more often.

Moore is by far Baker’s most reliable weapon at receiver. When targeted, Moore has an 87.6 passer rating, ranking him well above the league average.

Supporting this case, Week 4 is by far Moore’s best matchup. Slated to be across from him today is corner Byron Murphy Jr. Through three games Murphy has allowed 12 of his 17 targets to be hauled in resulting in a 125.4 passer rating allowed. This firmly places Murphy amongst the bottom of the league when it comes to coverage, ranking 73rd out of 103 gradable cornerbacks.

The nickel formation safety is projected to be Jalen Thompson, who is arguably one of the worst coverage safeties in the NFL ranking 62nd out of 72.

Bet on this publicly-frustrated WR1 who leads the team in targets to score his second touchdown of the season against this weak Cardinals secondary at home today in what should be a close game.
