Bears-Patriots MNF Betting Odds & Trends: Bettors Hammering Rhamondre Stevenson and Jakobi Meyers Props (October 24)

After NFL fans were forced to watch the low-scoring affair between the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, the Monday Night Football matchup sets up as another defensive battle.

In the last game of Week 7, the Chicago Bears with travel to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots.

Per BetMGM, the line opened at Patriots -7.5 but now stands at -8 for the prime time game. Sure enough, bettors are hammering the Patriots, along with some props for their skill players against the Bears.

Rhamondre Stevenson & Jakobi Meyers Popular Props For MNF

According to BetMGM’s John Ewing, 63% of bets and 73% of money is on the Patriots at -8. The Bears opened as heavy +280 underdogs on the money line and currently sit at +300. Despite the value, just 65% of bets and 45% of money is on Chicago to win the game.

The most bet props also heavily favor the Patriots, with the top three bets on Rhamondre Stevenson first touchdown (+400), Jakobi Meyers to score anytime touchdown (+250) and David Montgomery under 52.5 rushing yards (-120).

Despite the Bears’ rebuilding status, you’d never guess they were a terrible football team when listening to Bill Belichick talk them up throughout the week.

Belichick called the Bears a “really impressive group” with a lot of “promising young players”. He would go on to say Bears quarterback Justin Fields is a “major threat every time he touches the ball” and the Bears’ run game is “right up there with Cleveland” when making it clear that he wasn’t sleeping on the lowly opponent.

The Patriots head coach can tie legendary Bears coach George Halas for second in all-time NFL wins (324) with a win against the team Halas brought to prominence on Monday night.
