Best Patriots-Cardinals Props

Kyler Murray OVER 34.5 Yards Rushing -114 (FanDuel)

Kyler Murray has been under scrutiny all season long. He ranks 21st in QBR but top seven in clutch-weighed expected points added through rushes. Murray and the Cardinals are at their best when he is running free and receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown are running down the field. Tonight he’ll face off against a Bill Belichick-led defense that is susceptible to allowing running quarterbacks to have success on the ground.

When the Patriots played the Buffalo Bills last week on Thursday Night Football, Josh Allen‘s rushing props were popular plays. Allen ran the ball eight times, four of which were kneeldowns, for only 20 yards. Earlier in the season, speedy quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields each ran for at least 80 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots. They allow the sixth-most yards rushing to the quarterback position and will have their hands full in the secondary, as Hopkins has played like a top-five receiver since he returned from his suspension and Brown played 97% of snaps in his first game back from injury last week.

Murray does not have his security blanket in tight end Zach Ertz, as he tore his MCL last month. Murray has also dealt with his fair share of injuries this season. He missed two games due to a hamstring but returned with vengeance in Week 12 against the Chargers and ran for 56 yards. Murray has gone over this line in 5 of 10 games, with all five coming in his last six starts.

Mac Jones OVER 227.5 Yards Passing -110 (FanDuel)

Mac Jones will look to put his last game behind him. He threw for 195 yards on 36 pass attempts in a 24-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The week before, Jones had a career day on Thanksgiving, throwing for 382 yards against the Minnesota Vikings, but the Patriots defense failed him. New England is now on a two-game losing skid. They come into Arizona tonight as 2.5-point favorites but are down weapons Jakobi Meyers and Damien Harris and could find themselves trailing, as the talented Cardinals offense is primed to score points.

These last regular season games are important for Jones. He has a chance to push the Patriots to the playoffs or potentially lose his starting job. Jones has had the bright lights on him his whole life and has a great matchup against the Cardinals, who have allowed four of the last five quarterbacks to eclipse this line and over 289 yards passing at home. Hunter Henry and Nelson Agholor will have expanded roles, with Rhamondre Stevenson leading the Patriots out of the backfield.
