NFL Week 14 Odds and Props: A.J. Brown To Attack Injured Giants Defense

Despite six teams being on a bye in Week 14, there are still a lot of great props to consider on No House Advantage. There are two types of contests to play, “Pick ‘Em” and “Vs The House.” Let’s narrow down the field by highlighting some of the best props to target. Also, check out Stokastic’s NFL Player Props Tool to make selections.

NFL Player Props: Week 14 No House Advantage

A.J. Brown, PHI at NYG: Over 80.5 Yards Receiving

Brown feasted against his former team last week, posting eight receptions, 119 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans. He was target 10 times, which marked the fourth game this season in which he has had at least that many passes thrown his way. In each of those games, he finished with at least 85 yards receiving. In three of them, he had at least 119 yards.

This is setting up to be another big week for Brown, with the Giants dealing with injuries to their secondary. Their biggest absence will be cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (knee), who has missed both of the last two games. The Giants played the Cowboys and Commanders in those games, with CeeDee Lamb and Terry McLaurin both registering over 100 yards receiving. If Brown can approach 10 targets again, he could blow past this total. It’s worth noting that Giants running back Saquon Barkley is questionable (neck) for the game, and if he’s ruled out, Philadelphia’s offense and Brown will likely see higher time of possession.

Garrett Wilson, NYJ at BUF: Over 61.5 Yards Receiving

Is anyone happier about the Jets making a change at quarterback than Wilson? In Mike White’s first start of the season, Wilson finished with five catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears. Last week, he torched the Vikings for 162 yards on eight receptions. Over that two-game span, Wilson was targeted a total of 23 times.

With the Jets falling in an early hole last week against the Vikings, they had to throw a lot while playing catchup. Wilson was White’s favorite receiver, which resulted in him getting 15 targets. In what could be another high-scoring game, Wilson should once again be busy. The NFL Player Props Tool has Wilson projected to finish with 65.5 yards.

Kirk Cousins, MIN at DET: Over 1.5 Touchdowns Passing

The Vikings scored 27 points against a tough Jets defense last week, but two of their three scores came on the ground. Cousins finished with a modest stat line, throwing for 173 yards and a touchdown. The Jets’ secondary is particularly stout, which has helped them allow just 11 passing touchdowns all season.

Week 14 brings a much easier matchup for Cousins. The Lions’ defense has been in shambles, allowing the sixth-most passing yards per game in the league and 19 touchdowns through the air. When Cousins faced them in Week 3, he threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns. The NFL Player Props Tool has Cousins projected this to throw 1.8 touchdown passes in this game, which makes the over the way to go.

D.J. Chark Jr., DET vs. MIN: Over 44.5 Yards Receiving

This has the potential to be a high-scoring game, with the Vikings also struggling to defend the pass. They have allowed the most yards passing per game in the league and 16 total touchdowns passing. Not only did Wilson light them up last week, but Corey Davis finished with five catches for 85 yards.

Chark had his best game since returning from injury, posting five catches for 98 yards last week against the Jaguars. He was targeted six times and has received at least five targets in four of his six games played this season. With a great matchup and Chark being yet another week further removed from injury, take the over on this modest total.
