Best NBA Prop Bets Today: Anfernee Simons and Davion Mitchell in Elite Assist Spots (November 2)

The NBA season is slowly starting to settle in and rotations are being set. That’s allowing us to find spots with players that have been consistent so far. In this post, we’ll focus on the best NBA props bets today.

The bets listed below are targeting players who have been consistently hitting their lines or who are in good matchups. There are also two target players who will have an increased role due to injuries.

These bets can be run as straights, and also as a four leg parlay on DraftKings. All together the parlay will payout at +1216. A $100 bet on the parlay will return $1,316.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

Grant Williams o11.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists – “PRA”  (-105)

Williams has rolled over his success last season with the Celtics into this year. He’s averaging 15.4 PRA per game through the first five games. His only miss being in a game where he played 8 minutes less than normal and only had a total of 4 PRA. He should get his normal 23-25 minute run against a team who plays a very big lineup where his size and defense will be needed. Williams should be used to stretch the floor and he’ll get some open 3’s against a Cavs defense that focuses on protecting the paint.

John Collins o8.5 Rebounds (-105)

Collins is in a great rebounding spot tonight. He’s averaging 9.86 rebounds per game through the first 7 games of the year. Tonight he gets a matchup against the Knicks who give up the second most rebounds in the NBA, and give up the third most rebounds per game to PFs at 12.15. Collins’ scoring has dropped off a bit to start the year, but his rebounding has been great. Clint Capela has been seeing fewer minutes so Collins is usually their best rebounder on the floor for the majority of the game.

Anfernee Simons o5.5 Assists (+115)

No Dame for Portland again tonight, and it is a pretty fun matchup that will be a good game to watch. Memphis’ defense has been absolutely horrible to start the year. They are allowing 121 points per game, and allowing 27.71 assists per game with 8 per-game specifically to PG’s. Without Damian Lillard in Portland’s last game, Simons was tied for the league lead in potential assists at 17. His teammates only need to shoot around 40% if he has only 15 potential assists this game, against a horrible defense. With the lack of defense Memphis has been playing, and the raw volume of passes and potential assists, you can be confident that Simons is in a great spot today.

Davion Mitchell o4.5 Assists (-165)

No De’Aaron Fox tonight for the Kings, and Mitchell thrives when he’s out. I personally played this line at over 5.5 assists (+116), but for the parlay you can stick to 4.5. In 19 games last year without Fox, Mitchell averaged 7.2 assists, and the last 10 games of the year he averaged 10 assists per game. The Kings face a Miami team whose defense hasn’t lived up to expectations to start the season. The Heat are middle of the pack in terms of points allowed, and give up above average assists per game. Mitchell only had 5 potential assists last game, but that doesn’t bother me. In 31 minutes he made 65 passes and received over 70 passes. Mitchell should see 35+ minutes if they mirros last year’s so he’ll have have plenty of opportunities.
