The Quick Answer
Two Underdog Fantasy plays for Giants vs. Rams on Monday Night Football, and both come out of the snap counts rather than the box score. One offense is rationing a star and the other is most likely playing without one, which points me at one early catch and one running back's yardage line; the case for each, the video and the current Underdog offer with code OS1 are below.
The one I keep coming back to is the smaller of the two, a single catch, and it's first because the reason behind it shows up again in the second play.
The Picks: Monday Night Football, September 21
| Player | Stat | Line | Call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Darnell Mooney (NYG) | First-half receptions | 0.5 | Higher |
| Blake Corum (LAR) | Rushing yards | 47.5 | Higher |
The top row is the one that needs explaining, because nobody draws up a card around one reception. That's the point of it.
Darnell Mooney Higher 0.5 First-Half Receptions
Mooney played fractionally more snaps than Nabers in Week 1, 57% to 52%. Nabers is coming off last year's major injury, and he is the kind of player you bring up slowly to a full allotment. Follow that logic into this game. If the Giants are counting his snaps, the first half is the lower-leverage place to spend fewer of them. You save the extra ones for late, when you absolutely want him on the field.
That leaves early work for Mooney, who caught both of his targets for 27 yards in the 28-20 win over Dallas. I'm not expecting massive target share here, or much target share at all, so rather than go to his 1.5 receptions for the full game, I like carving out one early catch that finds him before halftime. It's a small ask, and it's tied to the part of the game where he's most likely to be out there.

Blake Corum Higher 47.5 Rushing Yards
The same snap-count thinking runs the other way on the Rams' sideline. Some folks are going to freak out that Corum played just 14 snaps in Australia. I don't care, and the Rams didn't seem to care much about that game either. They trailed basically throughout a 27-7 loss to San Francisco, which is the script that takes a running back off the field. Look at what he did with the 14 snaps: 10 carries for 54 yards, a 5.4 average, more yards than Kyren Williams (LAR) got on 11 carries (41). One game is a thin sample, but at that clip 47.5 is nine carries.
Monday is the opposite script. The Rams are back at home as touchdown favorites, most likely without Nacua, and that opens up time and opportunity for Corum. He was still effective in Week 1 on the limited workload, picking up right where he left off at the tail end of 2025. Remember the Giants saving snaps for late? I expect the Rams to spend theirs on the ground. A touchdown favorite playing from ahead runs the ball in the second half, and Williams doesn't have to lose his job for the second back to find nine carries in that game. Nacua's status isn't final until inactives come out, so check it before you submit the pick.
