Kalshi prices and sportsbook lines as of Thursday, September 17, 2026. DraftKings betting splits as of Thursday evening; Friday's final injury reports were not out when this was written.
Zay Flowers had 150 yards before halftime in Indianapolis and left with a hamstring. Ronnie Stanley, Calais Campbell and Trey Hendrickson joined him on the did-not-practice list Wednesday. Baltimore is laying 8.5 to a Saints team that had Detroit beaten with a minute and a half left in overtime. If you just want the pick, it is at the bottom.
The Game Lines

Tale of the Tape

Eighty-Six Plays In Detroit
New Orleans lost 31-30 in overtime and covered plus-7. Tyler Shough threw 56 times, 35 of 56 for 410, three touchdowns and two picks, sacked five times and hit nine. Chris Olave caught 10 of 13 targets for 182 at an 18-yard average depth. Alvin Kamara sat with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and is planning to play this week, not confirmed. Travis Etienne got nine carries and nine targets, Kendre Miller nine carries for 30 and a score.
Kellen Moore went for two to win with 1:34 left in overtime after erasing a 21-0 hole, and Shough's throw to Bryce Lance was knocked away. Before that, Jonas Sanker scooped a Jared Goff fumble and scored in the second quarter, and replay took it away because Goff's intent was to throw forward. Everyone watching knows that was a fumble. The point is that the game was closer than the overtime suggests, and the run defense is the worry: seven runs of 10 or more and 5.0 a carry allowed.
Derrick Henry Never Ages
Baltimore won 41-23 in Indianapolis. Henry ran 24 times for 144 and three touchdowns, Lamar Jackson went 17 of 24 for 324, and Flowers caught 5 of 6 for 150 and a touchdown with 49 and 54-yard catches before the hamstring. The Ravens ran 57% of the time in neutral situations at 6.03 a carry with six runs of 10 or more.
Without Flowers, 150 of Jackson's 324 yards leave the field and the passing game is Mark Andrews and checkdowns. Ja'Kobi Lane fractured his wrist and is headed to injured reserve. The defense hit Daniel Jones nine times but allowed 5.1 a carry to Jonathan Taylor, and now it may be without Campbell and Hendrickson up front.
The Injury Report Is The Whole Read
Stanley at left tackle, John Simpson at guard, Campbell and Hendrickson on the line, Nnamdi Madubuike limited. That is a lot of Baltimore's line of scrimmage on one Wednesday report. Henry can still run through New Orleans, which allowed seven explosive runs to Detroit, and that is why the number is where it is.
Shough threw 56 times into a Detroit defense that sent five or more rushers a third of the time and survived it. Baltimore sent extra rushers 23% of the time last week. The same volume to Olave is coming, which is the back-door path if the Ravens get up big.
The Number I'd Take
Saints +8.5 if Zay Flowers is out.On Kalshi, that is the Ravens not winning by nine or more, 51 to 52 cents.
If Flowers plays, I am not betting this game. It is a huge number and my lean is built on what Baltimore is missing, not on what New Orleans is.
What Moves The Number From Here
- Zay Flowers. Did not practice Wednesday. His status Friday decides whether this is a bet.
- Ronnie Stanley and John Simpson. Two of Baltimore's five did not practice. Henry's run game behind backups moves the number more than the passing game does.
- Alvin Kamara. Planning a return from the MCL sprain. Etienne and Miller split it if he sits.
- Rain in Baltimore. Drizzle in the forecast at 53%. Minor, but it favors the team that wants to run.
My picks for the rest of Week 2 are in NFL Week 2 Predictions for Every Game.
Nothing here is financial advice.
