The WNBA best bets today come off a four-game Tuesday, August 18, and the board looks nothing like Monday's one-game sliver. Two early tips at 7:00 p.m. ET (Fever at Tempo, Sparks at Sun) and two late ones at 9:00 p.m. ET (Liberty at Sky, Dream at Aces) gave our de-vig thirteen player-prop numbers that beat fair, and for once every game contributed. Twelve of the thirteen are Unders. The widest edge belongs to a forward who has only been a Toronto Tempo player since July 31, the deepest cluster sits on the Liberty-Sky game where the biggest name is listed questionable, and one rebounds market in Connecticut is priced so far apart at two books that both sides clear. I will get you to all of it, in the order it tips.

The Quick Answer
The best WNBA bet today is Aneesah Morrow Under 12.5 points at -115 on Bet365, against a de-vigged fair price of -129, a +5.3% edge in the Fever-Tempo game at 7:00 p.m. ET. Kamilla Cardoso Under 26.5 points + rebounds + assists at -110 on Hard Rock (fair -122, +4.9%) is the best of the late window. No game line made our card, so tonight is a props card. The full thirteen-row board, graded game by game, is below.
- Tonight's Lead: Aneesah Morrow Under 12.5 Points, -115 (Bet365), Fair -129, +5.3%. A scoring line a shade above what a recently traded bench forward averaged in Connecticut, on a Tempo team that is missing three rotation players.
- The Liberty-Sky Game Carries The Most Rows. Five of thirteen, led by Cardoso's combined line and a plus-money Jonquel Jones assists Under. Sabrina Ionescu is questionable, and that changes how you handle the whole cluster.
- Four Rows Are Dog Prices. Jonquel Jones' assists, Courtney Vandersloot's rebounds, Breanna Stewart's assists, and the DraftKings side of Leïla Lacan's rebounds all carry plus-money fair numbers; the Under is the less likely side and the value is only the overlay.
- One Market Clears Both Ways. Bet365 pays +100 on Lacan Over 2.5 rebounds and DraftKings pays +116 on the Under, and both beat fair. That is a disagreement between books, not a lock on either side.
- Nothing Here Is A Lock. Four rows clear +4.4% or better; everything from Lacan's +3.9% down is a shop-the-exact-price number, not a standing order.
Odds captured 2026-08-18 at 17:48 UTC (1:48 p.m. ET). Every fair price below is our own de-vigged number from the OddsShopper live odds screen, which strips the vig from both sides of a market so you can see what a bet is actually worth. Small edges, small limits, four games to spread them across.
Tonight's Lead: Aneesah Morrow Under 12.5 Points
The Indiana Fever visit the Toronto Tempo at 7:00 p.m. ET, and the best number on the whole board sits on the newest face in the building.
Aneesah Morrow Under 12.5 points, -115 (Bet365), fair -129, +5.3%. Toronto acquired Morrow from the Connecticut Sun on July 31, and per ESPN's report on the deal she had averaged 11.6 points in 23.2 minutes across 20 appearances with the Sun, mostly off the bench. A 12.5-point line asks a shade more than that average, in a role she has held for less than three weeks, and our de-vig agrees the market set it a touch high: strip the vig from both sides and the Under is a -129 favorite, while Bet365 is still selling it at -115. That is a 14-cent overlay, the widest we found anywhere in this capture.
The honest risk is on the Tempo's injury report. Nyara Sabally, Julie Allemand, and Maria Conde are all listed out, and a thin frontcourt pushes minutes and shots toward whoever is left, Morrow included. Add the game script: the Fever come in having won nine of their last eleven per Covers' preview, while the Tempo have lost ten straight, so if this one gets away from Toronto early there is garbage time for a young forward to pad a total. Neither point flips the price, but both are why this is a +5.3% edge and not a +15% one. Standing caveat, same as always: a prop only lives if the player does, so confirm she is active before tip.
Her teammate gives the game a second row. Isabelle Harrison Under 6.5 rebounds, -105 (Bet365), fair -115, +4.4% is a rebounding line on a veteran Tempo forward, and it carries the same caveat with the opposite sign: with three rotation players out, boards are available for whoever plays, and that is exactly the situation where a rebounds Under can fail on volume alone. The de-vig still says -105 is a fair-beating price. Treat the two Tempo rows as one opinion on a short-handed team having a quiet night, and cap your exposure to the game accordingly.
Worked Example: What +5.3% Actually Buys You
Walk the Morrow row with me, because a lead number on a four-game card tempts people into treating it like a big edge, and the math is more modest than that. Value is price against true probability, not confidence in a single stat line.
What the market believes. Stripping the vig from both sides of the points market leaves a fair price of -129 on the Under, a 56.3% implied probability.
What the price demands. At -115 you risk $115 to win $100, an implied break-even of 53.5%. The market hands you 56.3%; the price only asks for 53.5%.
What that pays. Run 56.3% through a -115 payout and the Under returns about five cents of expected value per dollar risked: the +5.3% that leads the card. That is real +EV, and it still loses about 44 times in 100. The widest edge on a WNBA Tuesday is a small, steady overlay, not a free square, which is the frame to carry into every row below it.

The Early Window's Other Game: Lacan And Ogwumike In Connecticut
The Los Angeles Sparks visit the Connecticut Sun at 7:00 p.m. ET, and this is where the capture did something it almost never does: it cleared both sides of the same market.
Leïla Lacan Over 2.5 rebounds, +100 (Bet365), fair -108, +3.9%. Lacan is a Sun guard, and a 2.5-rebound line on a guard is a coin flip the market usually shades one way. Here two books shaded it opposite ways. Our de-vig makes the Over a slight -108 favorite, and Bet365 is paying even money on it, which is where the value the block flags lives. But DraftKings has the Under 2.5 at +116, against a fair of +108, and that side beats fair by the same +3.9%. Both prices being plus money on a market whose two sides should add up to a favorite and a dog is a disagreement between Bet365 and DraftKings about Lacan's role, not a signal on either side. The play is the Over at +100 if you want a lean. Look at the two prices together, though: even money on one side and +116 on the other add up to less than 100% implied. That is a disagreement between two books, the class of gap the Arbitrage tool is built to surface, and it is not an invitation to fire both sides. Limits on a WNBA guard's rebounds are tiny, one price usually vanishes first, and playing both sides of low-limit props across books is the fastest way to get an account restricted. Pick the Over at +100 or leave the market alone.
Nneka Ogwumike Under 8.5 rebounds, +105 (Bet365), fair -102, +3.5% is the more conventional read in this game. Ogwumike is back in a Sparks uniform this season, and an 8.5-rebound line on a veteran forward is a coin flip by our de-vig, a -102 fair, while Bet365 pays +105 for the Under. Plus money on a side that is fractionally the favorite is a clean overlay, just a small one, and the Sparks' own injury report (Cameron Brink, Erica Wheeler, and Monique Akoa Makani are all day-to-day) could shift frontcourt minutes in either direction before tip. Lacan's second row, Under 12.5 points at -106 (DraftKings), fair -110, +1.9%, is the thinnest number on the card and a shop-only price. Note that Lacan's rebounds Over and points Under are not in conflict (a guard can grab a third board on a quiet scoring night), but they are the same player, so count them as one opinion.
The Late Window: Liberty-Sky Carries The Most Rows, And A Question Mark
The New York Liberty visit the Chicago Sky at 9:00 p.m. ET, and the two 9:00 games between them hold seven of the thirteen rows. This one holds five, and it comes with the biggest lineup question on the board: Sabrina Ionescu is listed questionable with a foot issue after missing the Liberty's last game. Every read below is filed with that in mind.
Kamilla Cardoso Under 26.5 points + rebounds + assists, -110 (Hard Rock), fair -122, +4.9%. This is the best late-window number and the second-best on the card. Cardoso is the Sky's starting center and, per Covers' matchup page, posted 22 points and 12 rebounds in her last game against Seattle, which is 34 combined before you count a single assist, well clear of tonight's 26.5 bar. That game is the obvious risk to this Under, not support for it, and I want to be plain about that. The case is the price: our de-vig makes the Under a -122 favorite, meaning the market expects a materially quieter night than Saturday's, and Hard Rock is still selling it at -110, a 12-cent overlay. It is the row I keep coming back to on the late slate, because it is a favorite-priced Under on a settled starting role, priced cheap at one book, rather than a coin flip dressed up as an edge. Just size it knowing her last box score sat above the line.
Jonquel Jones Under 2.5 assists, +122 (Bet365), fair +112, +4.7% is next, and it needs the dog-price handling. The fair number itself is plus money, so the Under is the less likely side of the market; Jones is the Liberty's starting center and, per Covers, went for 23 points and 11 rebounds last time out, so a third assist is well within range. The value is only that Bet365 pays +122 for a side worth +112. Here is where Ionescu's status matters: if she sits, more of the Liberty's ball-handling shifts to Jones and Breanna Stewart, which is the exact game state that makes an assists Under on either of them harder to cash. Breanna Stewart Under 3.5 assists at +109 (DraftKings), fair +105, +1.9% is the same idea, thinner, and carries the same risk. Size both below the favorite-priced plays and read the pregame report before you place either.
Sabrina Ionescu Under 4.5 assists, +102 (FanDuel), fair -103, +2.5% is a small overlay on a near coin flip, and it only exists if she plays. Most books void a player prop if she does not take the floor, so placing it early can preserve the +102, but check your book's rules first, and if she plays through it on limited minutes the bet stands and the injury risk is real. Either way, there is nothing to chase. Courtney Vandersloot Under 2.5 rebounds, +115 (Bet365), fair +110, +2.4% rounds out the Sky side, a dog price on the veteran guard's boards. She was in the Sky's last starting five and, per that same Covers box, grabbed five rebounds in 30 minutes, double tonight's bar. Minutes are not the issue; the fair number being plus money is, and that last game shows why. It stays a small stake.
The read on this game: the books hung Unders on five different players in Liberty-Sky, but only one of them, Cardoso's combined line, is a favorite-priced number on a settled role. The other four are either dog prices or hostage to whether Ionescu plays. Lead with the one the injury report cannot touch.
Five rows on one game is correlated exposure, and the honest way to hold it is the way the July 20 board's standing lesson holds any cluster: cap the total stake on the game itself, lead with Cardoso, and let the four thinner rows share what is left.
The Late Window's Other Game: Two Thin Unders In Las Vegas
The Atlanta Dream visit the Las Vegas Aces at 9:00 p.m. ET, and our capture found two rows, both thin.
Jewell Loyd Under 1.5 threes, -110 (Bet365), fair -117, +2.9% is a shooting-volume line on the Aces guard, and a 1.5 bar on a three-point shooter is always a live coin flip: two makes cashes the Over, and Loyd is a career scorer with the green light. The reason the Under is the favored side is who she plays next to. This is A'ja Wilson's offense, and Covers' preview has Wilson leading the league in scoring and usage rate; every possession that runs through the reigning MVP is one that does not end in a Loyd three. Our de-vig makes the Under a -117 favorite; Bet365 is at -110. It is a real edge and a small one. Angel Reese Under 30.5 points + rebounds + assists, -105 (Bet365), fair -110, +2.3% is the other, a combined bar on the Dream forward, who arrived in Atlanta from Chicago in an April trade, and it clears by a hair. Reese is Atlanta's rebounding engine, and a combined line built on boards is the one that gets hardest against a frontcourt anchored by Wilson, one of the league's best interior defenders; 30.5 is a big number to reach on a night the glass is contested. The fair price already makes the Under a slight favorite, and Bet365 is paying slightly better than fair for it. Both rows are shop-only: the exact listed price or nothing. Covers notes the Under has cashed in seven of the last eight meetings between these teams, which is context, not a reason to bet more.

The row worth staring at is the second one, because of what it says about the first. Morrow's +5.3% leads, but it sits on a short-handed team in a game the market expects to be lopsided, two forces that push against a scoring Under. Cardoso's +4.9% is a shade smaller and sits on a starting center whose role is settled and whose game figures to stay competitive. Same size of edge, very different amount of noise around it. Those are the two plays I would size first on a small-stake card, the Toronto number because it is the widest and the Chicago number because it is the cleanest, with the eleven rows behind them reduced or skipped unless the exact price is still live.
The Slate Rundown: Where The Game Lines Landed
The intent of this card is every priced game against fair, so here is the game-line read for all four, even though none of it made the table. Our capture surfaced player props on all four games and no qualifying moneyline, spread, or total, so there is no game-line number to post. The Fever are heavy road favorites in Toronto by every preview we read, and a heavy favorite is exactly the kind of line the market prices tightly; the Liberty are the favorite in Chicago in a game Covers frames as a top-five offense against a bottom-five one, and the Aces are favored at home over a Dream team that has lost both meetings this season. The Sparks-Sun game is the closest to a coin flip, with Los Angeles at 4-14 over its last 18 games per Covers' preview. Four games, four passes on the game lines. Passes belong on the card; the value we can actually document tonight is in the player markets.
How To Bet A Board Like This
Thirteen rows, twelve Unders, four games, four books, and a lineup question hanging over the deepest cluster. That profile makes most of the decisions for you.
- Lead With The Two Favorite-Priced Rows. Morrow's points and Cardoso's combined line are the only two numbers above +4.8% that are also favorite-priced Unders. They earn the standard small ticket. Everything else is a smaller stake or a shop-only price.
- Read Ionescu's Status Before You Touch The Liberty Rows. Her own assists Under should void at most books if she sits, which is harmless, but confirm FanDuel's posted rules. But the Jones and Stewart assists Unders get worse if she sits, because somebody has to handle the ball. That is one injury report changing three rows.
- Handle The Four Dog Prices Differently. Jones, Vandersloot, Stewart, and the DraftKings side of Lacan's rebounds all carry plus-money fair numbers, so each Under is the less likely side of its market. They earn the smallest stakes on the board, the same lesson the August 17 parlay piece applies to plus-money legs.
- Count Opinions, Not Tickets. Morrow and Harrison are one opinion on the Tempo. Lacan's two rows are one opinion on Lacan. Five Liberty-Sky rows are one game state. Cap bankroll exposure per game, not just per player.
- Don't Fall In Love With The Two-Sided Clear. Bet365 and DraftKings disagreeing on Lacan's boards is interesting, but a +3.9% edge on a 2.5-rebound line for a guard is still a coin flip with a small overlay. Take the exact price or skip it.
- Price Any Parlay Before You Place It. Same-game Unders make tempting legs and dishonest prices, as I laid out in my WNBA parlay piece. Run any build through the parlay builder so the combined ticket gets the same fair-value test as the singles. And when my own card has plays on it, it lives with the free expert picks on Tails, at my page.
The honest read on August 18 is that a four-game slate spread the value thin rather than deep. Thirteen props cleared and none by more than +5.3%; no game line made the card. The books drew a clear picture, Unders nearly everywhere with the two cleanest on a Tempo newcomer and a Sky center, and our de-vig says the sharpest disagreements are small ones. Bet the two leads properly, treat the Liberty-Sky cluster as one position that a pregame report can change, and shop the tail ruthlessly. On a night this wide and this thin, discipline is the entire edge. And if the Liberty keep climbing the seed race, the late-window prices will only get tighter from here.
FAQ
What are the best WNBA bets today, August 18? Aneesah Morrow Under 12.5 points at -115 on Bet365, against a de-vigged fair price of -129, is the best number tonight at +5.3% in the Fever-Tempo game. Kamilla Cardoso Under 26.5 points + rebounds + assists at -110 on Hard Rock (+4.9%) and Jonquel Jones Under 2.5 assists at +122 on Bet365 (+4.7%) are the next-best plays, both in the Liberty-Sky game.
Is Sabrina Ionescu playing tonight? As of this writing she is listed questionable with a foot issue after missing the Liberty's last game. Her Under 4.5 assists at +102 (FanDuel) should void at most books if she sits, but check FanDuel's posted rules. If she does sit, the Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart assists Unders get harder to cash, because more Liberty ball-handling shifts to them.
Why did no game line make the card? Our capture surfaced player props on all four games and no qualifying moneyline, spread, or total, so there is no game-line number to post. The Fever, Liberty, and Aces are all favorites, and favorites in expected-lopsided games tend to be priced tightly. Passes are part of the card; the value tonight is in the player markets.
What does a "dog price" mean on this card? Four rows, Jonquel Jones Under 2.5 assists (+122), Courtney Vandersloot Under 2.5 rebounds (+115), Breanna Stewart Under 3.5 assists (+109), and the DraftKings side of Leïla Lacan's rebounds (+116), have fair prices that are themselves plus money. That means the Under is the less likely side of the market, so the only value is the overlay between the price and fair. They should be sized below the favorite-priced plays.
How can both sides of Lacan's rebounds beat fair? Bet365 pays +100 on the Over 2.5 and DraftKings pays +116 on the Under 2.5, and our de-vigged fair prices are -108 and +108. Two books disagreeing that widely leaves both prices above fair. It is a pricing gap between books, not a signal about the player, and the exact listed numbers are the entire play.
What if a price moves before I can bet it? Then the edge moved with it. Every row here is graded against one specific number at one specific book, and on a card where nothing clears +5.3%, a few cents of movement can erase the whole overlay. If Bet365 has moved Morrow to -125, the -129 fair leaves almost nothing; skip it rather than chasing. The exact listed price is the pick.
How should I size bets on a card like this? Small everywhere. Four rows clear +4.4% or better and earn standard small tickets; the rest are shop-only, meaning the exact listed price or nothing. Cap exposure per game on the Liberty-Sky and Sparks-Sun clusters, and give the four dog-priced Unders the smallest stakes on the board.
