Kalshi prices and sportsbook lines as of Thursday, September 17, 2026. DraftKings betting splits as of Thursday evening; Friday's final injury reports were not out when this was written.
The Rams tried to bend space and time on the way to Melbourne, in and out in a day so the time difference could never touch them. You cannot be jet-lagged if you were never there. You also cannot play football if you were never there, apparently, and San Francisco won 27-7. This is the kind of team that comes home and lights it up. If you just want the pick, it is at the bottom.
The Game Lines
Kalshi in cents, bid and ask. Sportsbook column is the consensus line.
| Line | Kalshi | Sportsbooks |
|---|---|---|
| Spread: Rams Win By 7 Or More | see note | Rams −7 |
| Total: Over 47.5 Points | 50-51¢ | 47.5 |
| Moneyline: Rams Win | 74-75¢ | Rams -355 / Giants +280 |
The spread has held at 7. On Kalshi there is no contract at exactly seven; Los Angeles winning by seven or more sits between the 6.5 contract at 54 to 55 cents and the 7.5 at 46 to 47. It is a dome, and neither team listed anyone on Wednesday's report, which is its own kind of news after what happened to the Rams' defense.
Tale of the Tape

Stafford Was Hit Eight Times And Pulled
Matthew Stafford went 15 of 25 for 155 with no touchdowns and a pick, 0 for 4 on deep balls, eight hits, three interception-worthy throws by FTN's charting, and Sean McVay pulled him late for Stetson Bennett, situational, not injury. The offense had a 43% success rate, went 2 of 9 on third down, turned it over twice, and threw only 40% of the time in neutral situations, 12.9 points under expected. Puka Nacua caught 5 of 9 for 74; Davante Adams 3 for 26.
The defense got no sacks and two hits, allowed 56% success and 5.8 a carry with five runs of 10 or more, and then lost Myles Garrett to knee surgery for at least four games. McVay's fourth-and-goal sneak with a 38-year-old Stafford from the 1, down 17-7 late in the third, got stuffed and San Francisco went 99 yards the other way. Stafford aired it out to reporters after being pulled. It was a bad week. I do not think it is a bad team.
Dart Was Very Good Against A Bad Defense
The Giants beat Dallas 28-20 as a 3-point dog. Jaxson Dart went 23 of 29 for 230 and three touchdowns, 13 points over expected completion, and New York converted 9 of 10 third downs with a 60% success rate. Cam Skattebo ran 18 for 81 and a touchdown, Dart eight times for 59. Isaiah Likely caught all eight targets for 78 and two scores; Malik Nabers 6 of 9 for 69. No completions of 20 or more, four runs of 10 or more.
The defense allowed 46% success, got no sacks, and gave up no completions of 20 or more and 3.83 a carry. Nabers said he almost did not want to play and told his family not to come, then was fine. John Harbaugh's team looked good. I am not buying the 9 of 10 on third down yet, because that was Dallas.
Seven Might Not Be Enough
There is a track record here. McVay corrects problems and corrects them quickly, the Rams are at home after a flight that cost them a game, and the Giants' pass rush generated zero sacks against Dallas. Stafford hit eight times was the story of Week 1; whether it was the Rams' line or the 49ers' rush is the question this game answers, and the Giants are the wrong team to answer it.
If I am right about this, seven is not enough. This is the other game this week where a bigger alternate spread is worth a look.
The Number I'd Take
Rams -7.On Kalshi, the nearest contract is the Rams winning by eight or more at 46 to 47 cents, which loses on a seven-point win where the spread pushes.
I am not betting the total. The Rams threw 40% of the time in neutral situations and Dart had no completion over 20 yards.
What Moves The Number From Here
- The Rams' pass rush without Garrett. Zero sacks against San Francisco. Friday's report tells you who plays on the edge.
- Any Giants addition to the report. Neither team listed anyone Wednesday; a Dart or Nabers designation is the only thing that moves the number.
- The Rams' neutral pass rate. If McVay keeps protecting Stafford at 40%, the under is where the value is.
My picks for the rest of Week 2 are in NFL Week 2 Predictions for Every Game.
Nothing here is financial advice.
