Whether that date holds is a question people bet on, and as of September 4, 2026, "released before December 1" trades at 88-89 cents on Kalshi; 89 cents means an 89% chance. The contract for a release before November 1 costs 2-3 cents, so nobody expects it early, and the one for before 2027 costs only two cents more than the December one, which means the crowd doesn't expect a short slip either: if the date moves, it moves by months.

Prices as of September 4, 2026, and they move daily. Each contract settles yes if the game is out on PS5, Xbox Series X/S or Windows by its date, so November 19 has an 11-day cushion inside the December rung.
What The Market Is Weighing
Every commercial commitment points at November 19. The game was announced in December 2023 for 2025, moved to May 26, 2026, and then, on November 6, 2025, to November 19. Pre-orders opened June 25 with a bonus for orders placed before November 20; digital preload is set for November 12. Take-Two, the publisher, reported $1.39 billion in first-quarter bookings on August 6 and reiterated an $8.0-8.2 billion outlook for the fiscal year, a number that only works with a November launch; Strauss Zelnick called pre-orders "unprecedented and astonishing." On August 27 Rockstar put a 26-minute Extended Look on Netflix, captured on a base PlayStation 5, and let press who'd seen a private demo at Rockstar North publish the same day. That's what the 89 cents is paying for.
The other 11 cents is the leak, and the cushion. From August 17 a group calling itself CyberLeek posted 13 clips, about 26 minutes, from what looked like a real playable build, with demands attached. The December contract fell to 75 cents intraday that day, and again on the earnings-call day, and never closed below 83. Rockstar's response called the leaks "heartbreaking," said the game is "nearly there," and named November 19 without a hedge. Zelnick, on the same call where he praised pre-orders, also said "You can cancel a pre-order. We haven't sold one unit yet." And the contract gives November 19 only eleven days: a short slip into December, the kind Cyberpunk 2077 announced three weeks before launch in 2020, would settle no.
Rockstar's delays come months early, not weeks, and PC comes later. Both GTA 6 slips were announced six to seven months before the old date; on that pattern, the window for a November move closed in the spring. The next dated events are "gone gold," the announcement that the final build is done, which big console games make three to five weeks out, and Take-Two's second-quarter earnings, both landing late October into early November. On PC there is no date and there won't be one soon: GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 reached PC seven, 19 and 12 months after consoles, which puts a GTA 6 PC release somewhere between mid-2027 and mid-2028, and no Kalshi contract prices it.
What Would Change The Picture
Take-Two's second-quarter earnings, early November: an outlook reiterated with the date named sends the December contract toward 95 cents; an outlook that goes quiet on the date would be the first real crack. Gone gold, late October to early November: after it, the only risk left is a platform-side problem. November 12, preload: the last practical moment for a quiet delay. This market settles at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
Bottom Line
GTA 6 comes out November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox. The date has survived a stolen build, a leak week and an earnings call, the publisher has $8 billion of guidance riding on it, and the people betting on it put the odds of it holding at about nine in ten. A PC version is a 2027 or 2028 question.
