WNBA Parlay Of The Day (July 31): 3-Leg Unders Ticket At +728
Three WNBA games on Friday's card, and when I ran all three through the de-vigged screen, every positive edge it graded came back an Under. That's why I'm building Friday's ticket the way this series was designed to work: the single best takeable Under from each of the slate's three games, every leg at the same book, nothing forced.
The Quick Answer
Tonight's WNBA parlay of the day is a 3-leg, one-book ticket at Bet365: Sonia Citron Under 3.5 assists (+115), Flau'jae Johnson Under 4.5 rebounds (+110), and Aliyah Boston Under 8.5 rebounds (-120). The combined price pays about +728 against a fair value of roughly +614, a ticket-level edge of about +16%. The leg-by-leg case, the de-vig math, and the wider edges I deliberately left off the slip are below.
Three Games, One Direction
Friday gives us exactly three WNBA games:
- Dallas Wings @ Washington Mystics, 7:30 PM ET
- Seattle Storm @ Atlanta Dream, 7:30 PM ET
- Indiana Fever @ Portland Fire, 10:00 PM ET
Run all three through the OddsShopper de-vig process, the same one our +EV bets guide walks through, and every positive edge our screen graded tonight is an Under. The full ladder, widest first: Sonia Citron and Shakira Austin's assists Unders in the Mystics game both grade +8.0%, the top two numbers on the entire slate. Behind them sit Bridget Carleton, the No. 1 pick of Portland's expansion draft, whose Under 2.5 assists grades +7.7% at -125, and Seattle's second-year center Dominique Malonga, whose Under 16.5 points grades +5.0% at -115, but both of those prices live at Hard Rock, and a one-slip ticket needs every leg at one book. So the Bet365 lane is where this parlay gets built.
One structural note before the legs: the two widest edges on the whole board, Citron's and Austin's, sit in the same Mystics game, and a one-leg-per-game ticket only gets to keep one of them. Hold onto the +8.0% figure, because it comes back twice: once as the anchor leg of this ticket, and once as the edge I had to leave behind.
The Three Legs
| Leg | Game (Tip ET) | Prop | Bet365 Price | Fair | Edge |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dallas Wings @ Washington Mystics (7:30) | Sonia Citron Under 3.5 assists | +115 | -101 | +8.0% |
| 2 | Seattle Storm @ Atlanta Dream (7:30) | Flau'jae Johnson Under 4.5 rebounds | +110 | +102 | +4.0% |
| 3 | Indiana Fever @ Portland Fire (10:00) | Aliyah Boston Under 8.5 rebounds | -120 | -129 | +3.3% |
The top row is the ticket's engine. The market, stripped of vig, makes Citron's Under a razor-thin favorite at -101, essentially a coin flip that leans Under, and Bet365 is paying +115 on it. Plus money on the favored side of a coin flip is the best price relationship on tonight's board, and this one game posts it twice.
Leg 1: Sonia Citron Under 3.5 Assists (+115)
The second-year Washington Mystics guard is a scorer first, a shooting guard whose job in this offense is to finish possessions rather than run them, which is why her line sits down at 3.5 for the Friday date with the Dallas Wings. The price does the heavy lifting: the de-vigged market says Under 3.5 is a 50.2% proposition, fair at -101, and one book is selling it at +115, a gap worth about eight cents of expected value on every dollar and tied for the widest edge on the board. I did ask the obvious question about why it exists, because twin soft prices in one game usually mean news the book hasn't caught, and the answer is reassuring: today's league injury report lists nobody for either the Mystics or the Wings, so this reads as a slow book, not a stale one. The math behind playmaker Unders is in my assists prop guide; the pricing framework is league-agnostic even where the examples are NBA. If Washington's lineup news changes late and more ball-handling lands in Citron's hands, I pass; short of that, plus money on a fair coin flip is the price relationship this whole series hunts.
Leg 2: Flau'jae Johnson Under 4.5 Rebounds (+110)
Johnson is a rookie guard, the No. 8 pick in the 2026 draft who landed with the Seattle Storm on a draft-night trade, and books are setting her rebounds line off a few months of professional data. Tonight in Atlanta that line is 4.5, and to be precise about what the market says: the de-vig makes this Under a near coin flip that tips a hair to the Over side, fair at +102, while Bet365 posts +110. This is the one leg on the slip that is not a de-vigged favorite; it's a 49.5% proposition being paid above its fair price, and that price gap, not a lean, is the entire case. A guard's rebounds prop swings more night to night than almost any market on a board, which is exactly why this leg is price-only by design: I'm not forecasting her rebounding, I'm buying a 49.5% event at a better-than-fair number. The pricing framework in that guide applies here unchanged, even though WNBA rotations deserve their own checks. She carries no designation on today's injury report, so the number is live.
Leg 3: Aliyah Boston Under 8.5 Rebounds (-120)
The late window closes the ticket, and this leg demands the honesty section up front. Boston left Tuesday's game against Seattle before halftime after tripping over Flau'jae Johnson's foot in the second quarter (yes, Leg 2's foot) and landing on her right knee; Indiana held her out of the second half as a precaution, she practiced Thursday without visible issue, and the Fever list her as probable for tonight with a right lower leg injury. Probable means expected to play, and the rebounds line being posted at all says the market agrees, but if she's downgraded before the 10:00 ET tip, this ticket is a pass, full stop. Price-wise, the Under is a real de-vigged favorite: fair -129, about 56% to cash, with Bet365 asking only -120. Probable and a full practice do not equal a normal workload, so I treat this as a check-before-tip leg rather than a set-and-forget one; the payoff is the smallest edge but the highest cash probability on the slip. It's the leg that decides the ticket at midnight ET, and the one whose status you check last before you fire.
The pattern, one more time: two of these Unders are outright favorites once the vig comes out, the third is a coin flip being paid underdog money, and all three are priced below their fair number at one book. That's the entire strategy.
The De-Vig Math: +614 Fair, +728 Payout
The worked example, using only the prices above:
- The payout. Convert each price to decimal odds and multiply: 2.15 (Citron at +115) x 2.10 (Johnson at +110) x 1.8333 (Boston at -120) = 8.28, which is a +728 American price. A $100 ticket returns about $728 in profit if all three cash.
- The fair price. The de-vigged win probabilities are 50.2% (Citron), 49.5% (Johnson), and 56.3% (Boston). Three legs in three separate games can't touch each other on the floor, so I treat them as effectively independent and multiply straight: the ticket cashes about 14.0% of the time, a fair price near +614.
- The edge. Getting paid +728 on a +614 proposition compounds the three leg edges (+8.0%, +4.0%, +3.3%) into a +16% ticket-level edge, the difference between building a parlay from mispriced legs and chasing longshots for the payout number. Our expected value calculator guide shows the conversion arithmetic step by step.
The Parlay Builder is the tool for the last step: load the three legs, confirm the combined number you're actually offered still clears fair, and pass if a line has moved under it. These prices came off the screen just after noon ET; an edge that existed at noon is not owed to you at 7:30.

Correlation Check: The +8.0% Edge I Left Behind
Remember that the Mystics game graded two +8.0% edges, not one? Shakira Austin Under 2.5 assists sits at the exact same +115 with the exact same -101 fair price as the Citron leg. On raw numbers it deserves a slip. It doesn't get one here for a mechanical reason: it lives in the same game as Citron, and the moment you put two same-game legs on one Bet365 ticket, the book reprices the combination as a same-game parlay package, so the +115/+115 straight prices you're admiring are no longer the prices you're getting. There's a subtler problem underneath: teammates' assists aren't cleanly correlated in either direction, since a made basket carries at most one assist and a night where Citron does the distributing can be a night Austin's chances shrink. When you can't even sign the correlation, you have no business guessing at a package price. The package-price game is the one I break down in how to build a same-game parlay; it isn't this ticket. Bet Austin as a straight single if you want the second +8.0%.
The other big number missing is Dominique Malonga Under 16.5 points, a +5.0% edge on the Storm's second-year center, who is herself listed probable tonight with a back issue. Two disqualifiers regardless: the price lives at Hard Rock, not Bet365, and she shares a floor with the Johnson leg. This slip stays one leg per game, every leg at one book, which is what keeps the math section's straight multiplication defensible. Three games on the schedule, three legs on the ticket. That's the ceiling tonight, by design, and it's what separates a parlay built for value from a payout chase.
How To Size It
First, the question a sharp reader should already be asking: why parlay these at all instead of betting three singles? Not because the parlay creates new edge, because it doesn't; it compounds the same three edges at much higher variance, and per unit of risk taken, the three singles win. The honest answer is that the parlay is payout leverage on a deliberately small stake: one half-percent ticket instead of three separate positions, with the compounded +16% edge riding on it, and full exposure to one soft number sinking the other two. If tonight's variance profile isn't for you, the singles are the sharper play and I won't argue.
For the ticket itself: a 14% proposition loses six nights out of seven, so the stake has to respect that. At a 14.0% win probability and a +728 payout, the full-Kelly stake is only about 2% of bankroll, and I take a quarter of that, roughly half a percent, per standard bankroll management. A +16% edge repeated at half a percent a night is slow, and slow is the point; these edge numbers are model estimates from the de-vig screen, not a track record. The routine is the same one that built Tuesday's ticket and the July 17 slip:
- Take only the legs the de-vig grades positive, and pass on any night the board offers none.
- One book, one leg per game, so every point of leg edge survives into the combined price.
- Small, repeatable stakes, sized so no single Friday matters.
When my own card has plays on it, they live on Tails.
FAQ
Why is every leg an Under?
Because that's everything the screen found. Every positive edge our de-vig graded on tonight's three-game board lands on the Under side; on a night when the value points one way, the ticket follows the value rather than forcing balance.
Why not four legs?
Friday only has three WNBA games, and this ticket refuses same-game legs at any price. Bet365 does post other positive edges tonight, like Caitlin Clark Under 20.5 points (+2.1%, with Clark herself carrying a probable tag for a back issue), but Clark shares the Portland game with Boston, so she can't join this slip without turning it into correlated, package-priced markets.
What about Saturday's board?
One edge from tomorrow already shows: Chelsea Gray Under 2.5 rebounds at +140 against a +134 fair price for the Aces' Saturday matinee. It's real, but it's not a Friday bet, and this series prices one night at a time. If it survives to tomorrow's scan, it'll get its own writeup.
The Bottom Line
Tonight's board handed us the cleanest version of the formula this series runs on: three games, three Unders priced below fair at one book, +728 on a +614 fair price. Check the prices before you fire, and check Boston's status last, because a downgrade turns this ticket into a pass, not a pick. The screen re-scans tomorrow either way.
