Kalshi prices and sportsbook lines as of Wednesday afternoon, October 14, 2026.
Kickoff: Thursday, October 15, 8:15 PM ET, Empower Field at Mile High, Prime Video
Seattle is coming off a brutal loss to San Francisco, and I went into this one thinking I'd be on the Seahawks. Then I kept coming back to the same thing: Seattle's offense is Jaxon Smith-Njigba and not much else, Denver's defense only has to slow down one guy, and the Broncos are a home dog on a short week with a total of 40.5. I'll take the points: Broncos +2.5.
How Often Does It Actually Happen?A betting line only tells you the price. The Sims play every game 10,000 times, so you see how often something actually happens and whether the price is worth paying. They're the same Sims behind the Stokastic.com DFS tools, where a subscriber won $1 million last week. In this game, the Sims like Bo Nix 10+ rushing yards: it hits in 74.4% of the Sims, and Kalshi charges 67.6¢. It works for DraftKings and FanDuel bets too. Seattle Is A One-Man Offense
The Seahawks lost 32-29 at home to the 49ers with four turnovers and went 3 of 12 on third down. Sam Darnold was 18 of 29 for 195 with two interceptions and five sacks, and his receivers dropped four passes. Smith-Njigba was the offense: five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. He also had the drop that hurt most, and he took responsibility for it after the game. I expect a big bounce-back game from him.
The problem is everything around him. Rashid Shaheed has been quiet since he came over from the Saints outside of a few big returns. Cooper Kupp is a shell of what he was, Jadarian Price is on injured reserve, and Emanuel Wilson (20 carries for 61 last week) is not moving the needle against Denver's run defense. Denver won't contain Smith-Njigba completely. He usually won't win a game like this by himself either.
Denver Wins Ugly
Denver's offense has been stuck all season, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. The Broncos beat the Chargers 23-17 last week with 123 passing yards and a 1-of-12 day on third down. The defense won that game: no completions of 20 or more yards allowed, five sacks and three takeaways.
The worry is the secondary. Pat Surtain II did not practice Wednesday and is listed doubtful with an ankle injury, and Riley Moss was limited with a rib injury. Even so, this comes down to stopping one receiver, and a 40.5 total suits the team that wins with defense. Denver's games are 1-4 to the over this year.
Two And A Half Points
Both teams are on short rest after Sunday games, and both are dealing with injuries. If this were three or three and a half, Denver would be an easy call. At 2.5 it's tougher, and I still land on the home dog.
The Pick
Broncos +2.5.On Kalshi, the Seahawks not winning by 3+ costs about 51¢.
A home dog on a short week, in a low-total game, against an offense that runs through one receiver.

Injury Report
- Pat Surtain II (DEN). Did not practice Wednesday (ankle). If he sits, Denver is thin at corner with Riley Moss limited (ribs).
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba (SEA). Limited Wednesday with an ankle injury. Zach Charbonnet (knee) was also limited, and Jadarian Price is on injured reserve.
- Talanoa Hufanga (DEN). Did not practice Wednesday (ankle).
