Monday night takes to Soldier Field, where the Bears will start Case Keenum in place of Caleb Williams and his hamstring. Even with Tyson Bagent out of the woods with concussion protocol, Ben Johnson is opting to deploy the veteran against the Eagles. And the market is not taking the news well as this game sits at 42.5, which reads more like a temperature reading in Chicago for early Fall than a Bears game total (note: it's significantly nicer outside than that total).
That backdrop shapes both plays. When an offense is down to its backup quarterback, the ball tends to get the air taken out of it on both sides: the team trying to manufacture offense, and the team trying not to screw up a golden opportunity versus an opponent starting their QB3.
Two plays, both priced best on Kalshi. Let's finish Week 3 in style.
Play #1: The Eagles Get Their Engine Back, 48¢ (+101 Effective)
Philadelphia found out what life without Saquon Barkley looks like in Week 2, and it wasn't pretty. Barkley left the Tennessee game early with a stinger after four carries, and Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley combined for 57 yards on 20 carries the rest of the way (under 3 yards a pop), with Bigsby's 2-yard touchdown the lone bright spot. Actually, scratch that: not bright at all. I bet Barkley. Pure pain.
But I am not deterred.
Barkley practiced in full Friday and Saturday and says he's good to go, and in the opener where he played from start to finish, he was pretty darn efficient with 15 carries for 83 yards against Washington. And now Dallas Goedert is on the shelf being replaced by checks notes Zach Ertz? My goodness.
So it's a 3.5-point road favorite here short on receiving options that should lean on its run game in a major way. And Chicago has allowed touchdowns on 5-of-6 red-zone trips it's faced this season (seems bad). The fine print as always: Jalen Hurts and the Tush Push/Brotherly Shove/Play-The-Packers-Tried-To-Ban is always a threat from the 1. That would be unfortunate, but the touchdown equity for Barkley is still there in a major way from the other 19 dashes in the red-zone.
BetMGM has Barkley at -118, FanDuel at -115, Caesars at -113 and DraftKings at -110. Kalshi's 48¢ works out to +101 after the fee, plus money on a guy the books all have at minus odds.
Play #2: The Bears' Short-Yardage Security Blanket, 41¢ (+134 Effective)
Let's dance with the devil and back the lead back on the opposite side of this game as well. Starting with the most important stat here: Chicago has run the ball five times from inside the 5-yard line this season, and four of those carries went to D'Andre Swift. Caleb Williams took the fifth, and Caleb Williams will be holding a clipboard on Monday.
I'm more of a Kyle Monangai guy personally, but Swift is the clear lead back with his 34 carries to Kyle Monangai's 20. He also adds a pass-catching element Monangai lacks, and with the aforementioned Case Keenum lingering back there, a dump-off to the house would not shock me and should not shock you.
Also, Philadelphia's run defense isn't exactly slamming the door, either: the Eagles are allowing 0.07 EPA per rush, sixth-worst in the league, and all three rushing touchdowns they've given up came from the 1-yard line. And that was against the Commanders and the Titans: hardly a Ben Johnson-inspired offense over there.
DraftKings, BetMGM and Caesars all have Swift at +110, with Sleeper at +113 and FanDuel at +100. Kalshi's 41¢ works out to +134 after the fee, the widest gap between the exchange and the books I found on this board.
How I'd Size It
A half unit deployed on each. They sit on opposite sides of the ball, so game script matters less than usual, and a low-scoring grind (see: that 42.5 total) suits both running backs just fine. Barkley is the favorite you're getting at plus money; Swift is the bigger edge and the cleaner goal-line role the more I run the numbers, which is equally as terrifying to type as I'm sure it was to read.
The Fee Math
Always a reminder for the fine folks newer to playing on Kalshi: they charge a taker fee of 7% of price times one-minus-price, rounded to the cent. In plain English, for Swift's 41¢ you're adding on 1.69¢, so you're really paying 42.69¢. On Barkley's 48¢ it's 1.75¢, so 49.75¢, which is about the most the fee ever takes because it peaks at even money. Kalshi rounds up at settlement, so treat every effective number here as a ceiling and not a floor.
Also, these are market prices and model estimates, not predictions of fact and not financial advice. And just like at a sportsbook, this is a constantly moving market, so all prices are subject to change. Check actives and inactives 90 minutes before kickoff (especially that Bears quarterback), make sure you're getting the best price possible, and enjoy the show.
The Official Card
Both contracts sit on the Eagles at Bears touchdown tab on Kalshi. Prices are accurate as of Monday, September 28, 2026, 9:18 AM ET, with the effective column properly accounting for the taker fee:
| Contract | Price | After fee | Effective | Best book | Game |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saquon Barkley Yes 1+ TD | 48¢ | 49.75¢ | +101 | -110 (DraftKings) | PHI at CHI |
| D'Andre Swift Yes 1+ TD | 41¢ | 42.69¢ | +134 | +113 (Sleeper) | PHI at CHI |
Barkley's contract has traded about 76,100 with roughly 73,200 still open, and Swift's about 51,200 with 50,700 open, so there's plenty of depth on both. Both prices could move before kickoff, so stay alert.

Final Thoughts
Week 3 has been beyond kind to me across all of my trades, so going a little heavier on the respective backfields to score than I normally might on a standalone island game. Calculated risk, calculated reward.
But as always: trade smart, trade responsibly, and trade to win the game. DUH.
Shoutout Herm Edwards.
