What I asked: "How often does Jalen Hurts throw for 200+ yards?"
The answer card from Ask the Sims in the Kalshi Combo Simulator. It counts the Sims and lists the nearest Kalshi lines; the 200-yard contract is 44.7¢ on the board. Tap it to ask your own Hurts question.
Kalshi cut Jalen Hurts' passing lines this week for a reason you can read on the injury report: Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown and Dallas Goedert are all questionable for Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff in London, and the Sims play the game without them. The market concluded that a quarterback without his weapons throws for less. The Sims concluded the opposite, because a quarterback whose team is losing throws more, and the Eagles lose to Jacksonville in 70% of the 10,000 runs.
Disagree with the Sims?Ask them your version: Hurts at a different line, Hurts if Barkley plays, Hurts with the Eagles leading at half. Every answer comes from the same 10,000 runs, priced against Kalshi, on the free Kalshi Combo Simulator.
Five Lines, Five Underpays
The ladder is the article. Every rung from 150 to 250 yards trades below the Sims on Kalshi's board.
The 225-yard card from the same session, with its own Kalshi price. The table below pairs every Kalshi line with the Sims.
| Hurts passing yards | Sims | Kalshi | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| 150+ | 82.3% | 75.3¢ | 7¢ in your favor |
| 200+ | 53.1% | 44.7¢ | 8¢ in your favor |
| 225+ | 36.6% | 30.4¢ | 6¢ in your favor |
| 250+ | 22.7% | 19.0¢ | 4¢ in your favor |
| 275+ | 12.2% | 12.7¢ | fair |
The gap is widest at 150 and 200 because that is where the market moved the most. The Sims have Hurts throwing mostly from behind to Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks and Elijah Moore, against a Jaguars secondary with two corners and a safety questionable, and that volume is what the market has not priced.
The buy is 200+ at 44.7¢ for the most edge per dollar, or 225+ at 30.4¢ if you want the payout. Above 250 the edge thins out, and 300+ at 7.5¢ against 5.9% is the first rung where Kalshi is ahead of the Sims.
The Two Fair Prices
Hurts' other props and the other side of the 200-yard line, from the same answer.
Hurts' legs are priced right. Thirty rushing yards costs 46.7¢ and happens 46.9% of the time, and the 40-yard line is priced to the decimal, 29.4¢ for a 29.4% shot. The market knows what he does with his feet. It is his arm, with the lesser receivers, that it has underpriced.
The other side of the headline line is where the market's read lives: under 200 passing yards costs 59.7¢ for something the Sims give 46.9%. That is 13¢ against you, the price of betting that a short-handed offense goes quiet.
What The Pairs Say
Hurts 200+ with Hurts 2+ passing TDs is the one pair worth building, because a 200-yard day from behind usually includes a second touchdown pass. Hurts 200+ with an Eagles win is tempting and wrong: the yards come from trailing, so the two legs fight each other.
My Take
- Buy YES on Jalen Hurts 200+ passing yards at 44.7¢ (+124). The market priced the injuries; the Sims priced the game script.
- Buy YES on Jalen Hurts 225+ passing yards at 30.4¢ (+229) if you want the bigger payout on the same read.
- Pair 200+ with 2+ passing TDs for the parlay, and nothing else.
- Leave the rushing lines alone. They are fair, and fair pays nothing.
If Barkley is active Sunday morning, the Eagles run more and this edge shrinks by a few cents. Check the inactives, posted around 8 a.m. ET, then ask the Sims again; the answer will have moved with the lineup.
On a sportsbook or Polymarket?Hurts 200+ is +124 on the DraftKings Parlay Simulator, +126 on the FanDuel Parlay Simulator and 48.7¢ on the Polymarket Combo Simulator, all from the same 10,000 Sims. Kalshi's 44.7¢ is the best of the four.
