Kalshi College Football Picks This Week: Every Board, Scored
This is the permanent weekly home for college football on Kalshi: what is live on the exchange right now, what our price-blind AI panel says about every board it has scored, and the weekly picks that begin when the games do. The season kicks off August 29, 2026, and Kalshi has already listed opening-weekend game markets alongside a deep futures board; from August 27 this page rebuilds every Thursday with the week's game boards up top.
Board last rebuilt: August 3, 2026. Prices on this page refresh at every rebuild; panel verdict timestamps are noted per board.
The Quick Answer
Three calls define the panel's college football board going into the season: it will not pay the crowd's price on either crowded Power-4 favorite, grading Miami 21.4% to win the ACC against a 56.5-cent market and Texas Tech 16.1% in the Big 12 against 49.5 cents; it makes Georgia the SEC favorite at 18% and the top of its national championship board at 12.6% against a 9.5-cent price; and on the Heisman board it backs Julian Sayin at 10.5% against 6.5 cents while grading the market's favorite at 4.5%. Every live college football market on Kalshi, and every panel number behind those calls, is below.
These are model estimates, not predictions of fact and not financial advice. Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated event-contract exchange, open to users 18+ in eligible states; availability varies by state. Every number in this piece gets graded in public once its market settles, on the full graded scoreboard.

This Week On The Board
The season has not kicked off yet, so this week's picks are futures edges, and two of them are the largest gaps anywhere on our college board. The market makes Miami a 56.5-cent ACC champion and Texas Tech a 49.5-cent Big 12 champion; the panel grades those same contracts 21.4% and 16.1%. Both fades are disagreements of more than 30 points, and both rest on the same structural argument: a conference title requires finishing top two in league play just to reach the December game, then winning it, and in 16-to-18-team leagues the panel refuses to price any team near a coin flip that far out. The crowd is pricing rosters; the panel is pricing paths. One of them is wrong, and the settlement will say which in public.
The rest of the preseason slate, in order of conviction:
- National title, Notre Dame at 12.5 cents: the panel grades the market's board-topper 5%, its largest championship fade, while backing Georgia (12.6% against 9.5 cents) and Alabama (8.2% against 3.5 cents).
- Heisman, Julian Sayin over CJ Carr: 10.5% on Sayin against a 6.5-cent price, 4.5% on Carr against the market's 12.5-cent favorite tag.
- The first game boards: Kalshi has already listed early-season games, and two of them price as near coin flips, Ohio State vs Texas (Texas 52.5 cents) and Oklahoma vs Michigan (Michigan 52.5 cents). The panel scores game markets weekly once the season starts.
A method note that doubles as honesty: the panel prices these boards blind, from settlement structure and verified season records, so a 30-plus-point gap against a crowded favorite is a claim about championship-game variance, not inside information about anyone's fall camp.

The Conference Championship Boards
The four Power-4 winner boards are the deepest futures on the college side after the national title market, and they are where the panel and the crowd disagree most. Each contract settles on the winner of that conference's championship game in early December, which shapes how these should be read: a champion has to finish top two in conference play just to reach the game, then win it. Deep leagues flatten the top of the board; top-heavy leagues concentrate it. Seven seats priced the four races in a single pass, price-blind, on August 3, then revised after reading each other's reasoning; an eighth seat failed to return a valid board on both attempts and is excluded from these tables.

Miami, The 56-Cent Favorite The Panel Will Not Buy
The ACC is the sharpest disagreement on the page. The market has Miami at 56.5 cents, the steepest favorite price on any conference board. The panel's blend comes back at 21.4%, and no seat priced the Hurricanes higher than 23%. The reasoning is structural rather than a knock on the roster: a 17-team league decided by a single December game leaves too many paths where one November upset reroutes the title game entirely. The panel graded Miami the clear favorite, just not a better-than-even favorite.
Texas Tech Near 50 Cents, And The Utah Question
The Big 12 board tells the same story with a twist. Texas Tech, off a 12-2 season, trades at 49.5 cents; the blend grades the Red Raiders 16.1%. Here the panel did not simply discount the favorite, it spread real probability to Utah (13.7% against 9.5 cents) and BYU (13.6% against 12.5 cents), reading Utah's 11-2 2025 season as closer in class to Texas Tech than the 40-cent price gap implies.
Georgia Atop A Flat SEC
The SEC is the flattest race on the exchange, and the panel flattens it even further: Georgia tops the blend at 18% against a 26.5-cent price, with Texas (13.2%) and Alabama (12.2%) bunched behind and six more programs holding real probability. Sixteen teams and a brutal schedule mean any October loss can cost a title-game berth, which is exactly why the panel's SEC edges run small and mostly negative on the favorites.
Ohio State, Indiana, And The Big Ten's Second Tier
Ohio State tops the Big Ten blend at 22.8% against a 30.5-cent price, a mild fade of the favorite. The interesting number is Indiana: the market prices the Hoosiers at 23.5 cents after a 16-0 season, and two seats made Indiana their round-one favorite before settling behind Ohio State in the revision round, on the argument that a perfect season's roster does not return intact. The panel's quiet value call in this league is Michigan, at an 11.2% blend against a 5.5-cent price.

The National Championship Board: Fading Notre Dame
Kalshi's national title market is the deepest college football market on the exchange, and the panel's headline call is a fade: it grades Notre Dame, the market's board-topper, at 5% against a 12.5-cent price, the largest negative gap on the board. The blend's own top is Georgia at 12.6%, with Alabama (8.2% against 3.5 cents) and Clemson (5.4% against a half-cent price) as its two loudest value calls. Seven seats priced all 50 teams in one pass on July 26; the full team-by-team table, every model's number and the dark horses live on the college football championship odds board.

The Heisman Board: Sayin Over The Market's Favorite
The Heisman market is the second-biggest college board on Kalshi, and the panel reads it as a mispriced top three. Its favorite is Ohio State's Julian Sayin at a 10.5% blend against 6.5 cents; the market's favorite, Notre Dame's CJ Carr at 12.5 cents, comes back at just 4.5%, with every seat inside a single point of that number. Oregon's Dante Moore (8% against 5.5 cents) is the other buy-side call. All 29 names, the full award history math and the revision arcs are on the Heisman Trophy odds board.

Playoff Qualifiers And The Undefeated Shelf
The playoff qualifier market prices each team's chance of making the 12-team field, and it is the closest thing the futures board has to a win-total-adjacent liquid market. The undefeated board, covered in full on the college football undefeated odds page, prices perfection itself.

Win Totals: 69 Team Ladders
Every notable program has its own regular-season win-total ladder (the KXNCAAFWINS series), priced as "N or more wins" contracts, with more than 462,000 contracts traded across 69 teams before a single kickoff. Reading a ladder is the exchange's version of an over/under: the rung where the price crosses 50 cents is the market's line, and unlike a sportsbook ticket you can sell out of a rung mid-season. For a worked sportsbook-side example of the same handicapping problem, our Big Ten win totals breakdown prices one conference number by number.
Dark Horses The Panel Will Not Dismiss
Four names trade in single digits where at least one seat put real probability, with a stated reason:
- Clemson, 6.5 cents to win the ACC. The blend's loudest buy on any conference board at 13.8%, and Claude Sonnet's revision round moved it from 8 to 15 on program-prestige grounds after a 7-6 season it read as a cyclical low, not a new level.
- Michigan, 5.5 cents to win the Big Ten. The Claude seat put Michigan at 12 and called it its "clearest lean versus the crowd's Penn State brand tax," on a year-two quarterback and roster continuity; Claude Opus independently raised its number to 11 on the same argument.
- Iowa State, half a cent to win the Big 12. The blend's 7.4% against an essentially free price is the largest relative gap on the page; in a league the panel graded as having no separable elite, the cheapest credible contender is where that read cashes.
- Alabama, 3.5 cents to win the national title. The panel's 8.2% blend makes this its biggest championship value call, consistent with grading the Tide 12.2% in the SEC race itself.
Sub-10-cent contracts carry wide spreads and settle in five months; these are the panel's honest longshots, not its confident calls.
Where The Panel Changed Its Mind
After round one, every seat read the other six seats' anonymized reasoning and could revise. The biggest movement was at the top of the Big 12 and Big Ten: GPT and Gemini both had Utah atop the Big 12 in round one and moved Texas Tech back in front after the revision round, and Claude Sonnet cut Indiana from 22 to 14 while lifting Ohio State to the top of its Big Ten board. The best arcs, in the seats' own words:
Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU after the 2025 season — that's a real staff change, not speculation, so I discount Ole Miss well below its 13-2 record (the offense that produced it left with him) and give LSU a real bump on the hire despite 7-6. — Claude Sonnet
The 2025 data card presents historical extremes, notably Indiana's 16-0 run and Vanderbilt's 10-3 campaign, which I heavily discount. — Gemini
And one seat that read the same arguments and held its number:
Otherwise I hold. Indiana at 13.5 is my deliberate middle: 16-0 is real evidence of a coaching operation, not a fluke, but an undefeated season's roster leaves and only two of eighteen teams reach Indianapolis. — Claude Opus
What Would Change The Panel's Mind
Every number above is a preseason read, and the panel's own analyses name the developments that would move them most:
- Quarterback resolution at the top programs. Multiple seats flagged starting-QB clarity, at Texas especially, as the single biggest swing factor on the SEC and national boards: several points of probability move with one depth-chart announcement.
- The first AP Poll and the season's opening weekend. August 29 through the September 1 poll is the first hard evidence against every preseason prior; a Week 1 upset by a board favorite reprices three markets at once.
- November conference races. The championship-game format means one late upset reroutes an entire conference board; the panel's Miami and Texas Tech fades are, mechanically, bets on exactly that class of event.
- The first CFP rankings on November 3. The committee's seeding logic moves the playoff qualifier and seed boards more than the games themselves that week.
When one of these fires, the page re-scores on its next Thursday rebuild rather than waiting for the story to age.
How These Markets Settle
Settlement language is the part most traders skip and should not. Each conference contract settles on the winner of that conference's 2026 championship game, per its own rules, with listed expirations in the first week of December. The national championship market settles on the winner of the January 25, 2027 title game; the Heisman market settles on the mid-December award announcement. Win totals settle on regular-season wins only. Every board article linked above carries the exact settlement line for its market.
| Date | What happens | Boards it moves |
|---|---|---|
| August 29, 2026 | Season kicks off (Week 0) | Game markets go weekly; win totals start settling into form |
| September 1, 2026 | First full AP Poll cycle of the season | AP rank boards, natty and playoff prices |
| November 3, 2026 | First CFP rankings release | Playoff qualifier and seed boards |

| December 2026 (mid) | Heisman ceremony | The Heisman board settles |
| January 2027 | CFP semifinals and January 25 title game | Finalist and national champion boards settle |
How Weekly Picks Work Here
From August 27, this page rebuilds every Thursday. In season, the structure changes shape: the week's game markets and the panel's biggest edges go up top, the futures boards move below, and each prior week collapses into one row of a running track-record table, graded against the settled markets so the page carries its own receipts. The panel's protocol never changes: every model prices every market without seeing the crowd's number first, and every published number is graded in public on the scoreboard once its market settles. The Kalshi NFL picks hub runs the same playbook for pro football, and Kalshi picks today carries the best of the whole exchange daily.
The Bottom Line
Going into kickoff the panel's college football read is: both crowded Power-4 favorites are overpriced at their conference numbers, Georgia is the honest top of both the SEC and national boards, and the Heisman market has the wrong favorite. Weekly picks begin with the August 27 rebuild. Conference verdicts were generated price-blind August 3, 2026; national championship verdicts July 26; Heisman verdicts July 30, each with prices refreshed at the latest rebuild stamped above. To be explicit: everything here is a set of model estimates, not predictions of fact and not financial advice, and event contracts involve risk. 18+, eligible states only.
