Kalshi prices and sportsbook lines as of Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
Both of these teams are 0-4. Houston is a 7.5-point road favorite, and if the Texans don't come in here and handle the Titans, I don't know what to tell you. This is their season, even if it is probably over already. I'll lean it, and I'm not betting it: Texans -7.5.
Kickoff: Sunday, October 11, 1:00 PM ET, Nissan Stadium

Ranks out of 32 through Week 4 of 2026, nflverse play-by-play. Run game = EPA per carry, passing = EPA per dropback, protection = sacks-plus-hits rate against pressure rate, explosive = rate of completions of 20-plus. O = that offense has the edge, D = the defense does.
Texans, best: explosive passes (3rd), passing yards (6th), ypc allowed (2nd). Worst: ypc (32nd), rushing yards (31st), explosive passes allowed (29th).
Titans, best: pass protection (4th), rushing efficiency (14th), run stuffs (5th). Worst: scoring (31st), touchdowns (30th), ypa allowed (27th).
Houston's Schedule Explains Some Of It
The Texans lost 34-30 to Dallas as three-point favorites and are 0-4 against the spread. C.J. Stroud went 21 of 29 for 347 yards and two touchdowns, Nico Collins caught seven passes for 118 and two scores, and the offense hit eight completions of 20-plus. The run game was 18 carries for 50 yards; Houston is 30th in EPA per carry.
The defense has been bad, 25th in EPA per play and 27.2 points allowed per game, and it is fifth in pressure rate. Look at who it has played: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Dallas, and three of those are top-10 offenses by EPA. It held the Colts to 19. Tennessee scores 13.8 a game.
Tennessee Can't Move It
The Titans lost 24-18 in Baltimore and covered as 11.5-point dogs. Cam Ward went 20 of 32 for 222 with a touchdown and an interception, and a lot of that came in garbage time. Carnell Tate caught nine passes for 145. Tony Pollard ran 16 times for 48 yards. Tennessee scores 13.8 points a game, 31st in the league, and went 2 of 10 on third down.
I don't think Ward is going to be able to move the ball consistently against Houston's pass rush. The worry is the number. With a 37.5 total, 7.5 is a lot of points for a team that can't run the ball either.
The Pick
Lean Texans -7.5.On Kalshi, Houston to win by eight or more is 48 to 49 cents.
It's a lean, and I'm not betting it. Houston should win this game. Winning by eight in a 37.5-total game is a different question.

Injury Report
- Houston's run game. 30th in EPA per carry; the offense is all Stroud and Collins.
- Tennessee's passing game. Most of Cam Ward's production last week came after Baltimore had the game in hand.
- Weather. Outdoors in Nashville.
